In 1925, the company was opened by William J. Elliott and still is located Jarvis but at our new location at 3268 Highway # 6. His son Howard subsequently joined him in the business and in 1969, Howard along with his wife Joyce, took over and operated the business until 1995 when they sold out to employees.
The company still remains a family business, now being owned and operated by Cory McBride and Andrew McBride. W. J. Elliott & Son Limited provides mechanical contracting services including installation and repair of air conditioning, electrical, plumbing, heating, cooling and ventilation equipment.We also operate a storefront selling plumbing, heating, air conditioning and electrical supplies on a retail basis.

W. J. Elliott & Son Limited supply and install natural gas and propane furnaces, boilers and related heating products. Unfortunately, we are not licensed for oil or wood burning appliances and neither supply, install nor repair these products. We proudly sell and install York heating and cooling products but are not exclusive to York and can offer other brands, when desired.
W. J. Elliott & Son Limited offers a full range of services from simple plumbing repairs to all the plumbing in your new house. We will supply and install everything from your water supply and drainage piping to your fixtures and faucets including your hot water heater, sump pump and, if you do not have municipal services, your domestic water system (well or cistern pump and pressure tank).

I had a substantial amount of work to be done, including a new furnace /a/c and plumbing and requested a quote and was told someone would call me back to make an appointment. After almost a week, I phoned back and was told they were too busy, and had work way way out....when I asked how far out....she said they just didn't have time. The web site looks like they have a huge company, having work way way out makes it sound busy...but since they couldn't give me the time of day or the courtesy of a return call, I'd say don't waste your time calling this place -just move on.
