A very satisfying project carried out by the Garage Store to remodel our 2 car garage. Scope included initial design, repair of concrete garage floor, replacement of stairway into house, application of floor coating, installation of wall cladding, cabinets, storage racks and lighting. Except for 1 missing shelf (supplied later), work was completed within 1 week and on budget. Staff were friendly and easy to work with. We recommend this contractor.

If you have an unlimited budget and don't care about after sales service, them I can recommend this place. Otherwise, I'd suggest you stay away.
I purchased a home with more than $25,000 worth of upgrades from the Garage Store (floor finishing, Halley cabinets, slatwall, etc.). I also purchased several hundred dollars worth of shelving after I moved in. I recently purchased some additional slatwall hangers and, after an extended period, I received a phone call that a piece on backorder had come in. I drove to the store to pick it up, only to discover that the part had not actually arrived yet

Could not recommend this business to anyone that may have follow up issues.
After speaking to the owner on several occasions, and providing pictures of issues HE, will not return text/email/or telephone requests. For someone that has been in business for this many years you would think he would have the backbone to confront improper application of a product he sells. Doesn't have the GONADS to even talk to me .

Unless you are doing a complete new garage or complete garage renovation, don’t waste your time with this company.
Owner Don only interested in projects worthwhile to him. That means big money projects.
No follow up after a week tells me if the job is too small they don’t bother.
The reply the owner wrote was nothing what we discussed on the phone. There was no mention of Covid-19 whatsoever as to why no one got back to me.

One star and only because of the product. Customer service deserves 0 stars. Decent product that I am happy with but dismal customer service. Purchased Proslat walls and Proslat cabinets long ago and was recently looking to add to walls with hooks and get a power lift as well. Easiest customer to please as I was willing to drop $500+ on simply buying the product in store. Nothing in stock so follow up was promised. No follow up whatsoever. I even called to complain and no proper follow up. I still don’t have the product and it’s been a month since I wanted to purchase the product. Too bad because

Customer service is hard to find now a days BUT that has not been my experience at the Garage Store. I discussed a minor problem with them in November, which they immediately looked into. We decided that they should wait until spring to try and resolve this minor problem. They said that THEY would call me in the spring to set up an appointment. Believe or not, they did call in the middle of April, set up a day and time the last week of April and showed up ON TIME. They worked on what I thought was only a minor problem all day and left me with a beautiful garage floor. NO CHARGE. Nice service personnel

The worst customer service experience. I had to go in the back to ask for someone to wait on us. A woman came out and sat down at her computer and started working on it. I had to ask again. No bags or boxes to put all my pieces in. I will drive to another city or shop on line before going here again.

I have to say while I do not have a garage I have seen the work gees guys do and it's amazing... Which is probably why it's been in magazines.
It seems like you can get Anyang you dream up in your garage from these guys. Every time I go into the shop I am greeted with friendliness. My parents got their garage done and it looks amazing my cat is so happy now in his new space I think he feels like a king! And now the neighbours are getting theirs done too. I think the quality of work speaks for itself.
Oh and one day I want a 3-d wall I think they are just too cool!

Poor Customer Service at the Garage Store in Calgary
A couple of weeks before Christmas I went to the Garage Store in Calgary to get my husband his Christmas present. Since I didn't want him to find it, I said I would come back and pick it up just before Christmas. I had a very clear conversation with the staff member who said the Garage Store would be closed December 24th. I left him with three contact numbers if they were needed.
December 22nd, I went to the Garage Store only to find it shuttered. I called that day and the next leaving 3 or 4 messages, emailed the 3 contact names
