Is the founder of pop design group inc since 2004 with 26 years interior design experience and having her ASID and NCIDQ designations. Prior to starting her own company, Julie worked for a large architectural firm in Calgary as their senior interior designer for several years. Julie has led her talented team on a multitude of projects across Western Canada, Western USA and Central America.
Julie Okamura and pop design group responded to acclaimed work done through her Canadian office by opening a studio in Los Angeles in 2009 for 7 years. Julie provides design expertise garnered over a 26-year career. By 2012, Julie and pdg were contracted by HGTV to contribute to their hit TV show 'House Crashers'.
