Spray foam insulation is not affected by wind and/or pressure changes whereas batt and poly allow air infiltration under these conditions. 2 lb (closed cell) is more dense and provides a higher R-value.

Damon and the crew were great. He told us what they were going to do, how long it was going to take and what we could expect. They did our basement and we noticed right away the temperature difference! No drafts and it was much quieter by the furnace room. When we build the next house, we'll have them do the whole project.

He left the job site just as clean, if not cleaner then when he first started the project... He is a very kind and polite guy with professional skills... A referral from my neighbor brought me to meet Damon and his crew. Initially, I was only looking for a quote for fixing a downspout. I hired Damon on the spot. Damon quickly answered my enquiry and setup a time to provide a free estimate. He was professional, courteous and straightforward, providing me with a very fair price, especially considering how skilled he is at his craft. As we walked through the room, he pointed out what type of material he would use and was honest in that because the room was finished, even with his skills, I may not get the result that I was expecting. Ultimately I didn’t pursue the spray foam and chose to live with what I had as it should of been done during construction phase. He spent a considerable amount of his time
