Hawk River Construction was founded more than 45 years ago providing all aspects of site preparation for residential and commercial applications. Our services include road building, septic system installation, excavation, landscape architectural design and more in Haliburton, Minden, Highlands East, Algonquin HIghlands and area.
A fifth generation Haliburtonian, Larry started Hawk River in 1975. Larry started the company working with clients in and around Little Hawk Lake, eventually expanding throughout all of Haliburton County. Larry prides himself on visiting virtually every job site to ensure that his mark of excellence has been made on the project.

Larry and his crew did an excellent job on our landscaping. It was a substantial project with a number of complications (including significant excavation, drainage, relocating buildings etc, some of which other landscapers said couldn't be done), all of which was well done efficiently and with minimal fuss.
I have no hesitation recommending them to others.

Hawk River has done site prep for us on 4 different projects. We are just starting our final project. Hawk river demolished the old cottage, cleared trees and chipped the scrub, they upgraded the driveway and grubbed down to bedrock. We r just waiting for the blasters to come in and the rock walls to be built. We have had many walls built by them in the past and always the talk of the neighbourhood. The crew is always polite and listens to details Larry the owner is always on top of everything. All and all exceptional experience.
