Harvey started his adventure in tree work in 2004, gaining several UK industry specific qualifications. These included pruning techniques, tree removal and safe climbing practices. Having gained a broad range of experience from residential work, pruning larger trees on the busy streets of central London and large site clearance jobs he then decided to set up his own business which he ran successfully for 6 years.
In 2016 Harvey relocated to Vancouver with his family. Harvey completed the Canadian service standard training is an ISA certified arborist and has passed the ISA Tree risk Assessment Qualification. In Vancouver he worked in a management position for a large tree service. Moving forward 2 years we relocated again to the Comox Valley where he is now back in business for himself with Tree Craft.

We have a large cedar hedge surrounding our property and have had a very hard time finding an arborist who was able to trim it evenly on the first attempt for the past few years. Harvey from Tree Craft was excellent in all respects. We will definitely contract with him again.

A crew from Tree Craft chipped some big piles of Scotch Broom that had been cut by Broombuster volunteers. They were efficient, the job was done well and the price was very reasonable. This was the second year we have used their services and will happily call them again next year.

We hired Harvey from Tree Craft in 2019, as we were looking for an certified arborist to help manage the growth of our newly planted cedar hedge trees. We reviewed our plans for the hedge and Harvey has been back twice to trim accordingly. Our yard was left very clean, as all trimmed debris was collected and removed. We would highly recommend Tree Craft.

Harvey and his crew were amazing! Showed up when they said they would and got to work raising the limbs on our Douglas Fir trees. We can see the sun now! Very responsive to our requests, asked us several times if it was what we were looking for - always willing to do more if asked. Cleaned up the yard better than it was before they got here. Highly recommend.

From the moment my husband and I met with Harvey we knew we had found someone we could trust to complete the work we needed done. He demonstrated knowledge and suggested options. Harvey and the Tree Craft crew were prompt, professional and used safe practices in completing the canopy reduction of two large oak trees including clean up. Great job and value for money for sure.
