The product is good. The company not so much. Called the company based in Sherwood Park as per Google. My house is in Onoway, about 1.5 hrs away. Drove to the show room and ordered what I needed. Paid the bill in full. I installed my roof. Found out a week later that I could have got it from my local Onoway Timbrmart for 20% less. No one at their office recommended it, though the address was on the order form. I paid the full delivery cost for the distance from Sherwood Park instead of from a yard five minutes from my house. I thought that by buying direct I would avoid some markup, instead their

Found this location on Google maps, when I called in for some fascia metal, which is a pretty ordinary product in this market, I was dismissively told by the guy that "this is corporate office" and they don't have anything or stock anything....
Well maybe you should change your Google presence to reflect that so we don't have to waste your time by calling in as a cash customer...

What a terrible place to deal with .Customer service is horrible .Ken ames should be fired.I was very happy when a local roofing supply company came into Sherwood Park.its nice to support local, but not these guys .I guarentee I will never spend another dollar there again!.I hope they go out of business! Please do your research and do not buy from them! You will regret it !

I was pleased to hear some time back that Metal Experts had moved into Sherwood Park. I am a journeyman carpenter, and because I try to shop locally, have dealt with this company in the past. Last week I had them give me a quote on their Tuff Rib metal roofing for my barn roof. The quote came in at a little over $8,700.
I decided this time to get other quotes, and the one I received from Versaframe was less than $6,800 tax in for exactly the same material. I approached Metal Experts with my new quote, explaining how much more metal I needed in the future, and as happens usually, expected them
