Our kitchen was completed by Payless kitchens, in June. We first had a design done of our new Kitchen, (Bob). This was well worth the price as the professional drawings illustrated what the final kitchen would look like. The timeline/completion of the project was followed and was completed on time. We could tell that James and Jessica who did the work, are very experienced, with all work done in a professional manner with attention to detail. Bob and his team recently completed a large renovation and new kitchen install for us. After having dealt with other contractors, we were prepared for the usual delays, price increases, unexpected problems and endless mess. Especially with a project of this scope.
To our amazement, the project was completed as promised: On time, on budget! The attention to detail was very high-Bob and his team take obvious pride in creating a superior product, even if it takes longer to “get it right”. The Pay Less Kitchens team was wonderful to work with. They made our small dark kitchen into a bright open space that has quickly become our favourite room of the home. Beginning with their first contact, we were impressed that this company listened carefully to our ideas. They clarified and communicated consistently prior to the contract and through all phases of the work. Bob's planning calendar established the start date; the weeks the crew would be on site and when the project would be finished. The crew worked six days each week when they were scheduled. I am enjoying my beautiful kitchen!!! James and Jessica did an excellent job, staying on schedule and paying attention to all the little details. Bob listened carefully to what I needed and my overall vision and created a lovely design (e.g. love the crown moulding design!!!) This made the $350 consultation and blueprint fee worth it in the end. Jessica also worked with me to pick out floor and backsplash tiles, ceiling light and faucet. We are half way through our install. So far we exactly on schedule. I have to give credit to their installation team, the prep was done extremely precisely to the plan and everything looks great already.

We love our new kitchen! The team of James & Jesse were efficient & hard working. They were sensitive to our needs as we lived through the renovation and every day garbage & recycle was removed & the work area left tidy. We were given an agenda prior to the start date with the work progress we could expect each week & it remained on schedule the entire time. The final result was more than we anticipated. What a pleasure it was to work with such an honest, reliable, responsive, and knowledgeable team at Pay Less Kitchens. Bob, Katherine, James and Jess did a complete two-story renovation on our 30-year old home in Stouffville, including the design and install of a new custom kitchen, mud room, media unit, bathrooms (2) and even some custom window… bench storage cabinetry in our kids' rooms. My husband and I are extremely picky when it comes to quality and workmanship, and my husband's background in Project Management means his expectations around timelines and budgets are extremely high.

We also paid the $250 for the kitchen design and feel it was one of the best decisions we made about our new kitchen. Without Bob's advice we would have made some expensive mistakes in laying out our kitchen. He really knows his stuff, no fancy CAD just a very understandable and workable to-scale drawing. Katherine ensured everything was ordered correctly and came in on schedule. The cabinets are so well made and beautiful. We love our new kitchen and we would not hesitate to recommend Payless to anyone looking for a quality kitchen.
