Services
Established in 1991, our firm has developed a wide range of experience in a variety of sectors from children's facilities to seniors' communities; as well as educational, administrative, healthcare, and community projects. These projects include new facilities, as well as additions and renovations to existing buildings.
The team at Cornerstone is a collection of talented individuals, whose unique abilities complement those of the other team members. Our firm includes a balance of professional and technical personnel, as well administrative support staff; providing us with the capability to accomplish projects at any scale.
Over many years of working with a variety of clients, we have developed a highly collaborative approach to our services. This approach has evolved into a systematic collection of techniques that are focused on enabling direct client involvement in the design process. We call this our Collaborative Design System and it's our foundation for success.
As a leading firm in our region in the area of sustainable design, we encourage all of our clients to consider, to the degree appropriate for them, the emerging opportunities for making their buildings more energy efficient, able to use less water and other resources, create better indoor living and working environments, and reduce the impacts on their sites.
Developed as part of the City of London's strategy to provide programming and support to families in higher needs areas, the White Oaks Family Centre was designed as an addition to the White Oaks Public School/South London Community Pool complex. Partners in the collaborative development of the design included the London Children's Connection, the City of London and the Thames Valley District School Board.
