Interior design can take many forms. Our range of interior design and decor services can be accessed in several ways. Fine furnishings and custom window coverings, as well as area carpets, lighting and art and accessories are our main focus. We also do bathrooms and kitchens. You may prefer to start with a colour consultation.
A simple mix of old and newer furnishings and fabrics will not have much zing without a thoughtfully chosen colour palette. Whether your style preference is contemporary, clean lines and minimalist or richly layered traditional, the wall colour will play a key role in successfully achieving the vision that you have for your space.
Whether your home is larger or small, space planning is crucial in order that the best use is made of the space available. Many people struggle with furniture placement and fall back onto awkward and conventional arrangements. Traffic flow is one of the key elements involved in space planning a room.
I always seem to have trouble narrowing down colour selections, so during a recent kitchen reno I hired Mulberry Interiors to consult on the final colour scheme. In my opinion this was time and money well spent. Marguerite's tasteful and creative suggestions provided me with an entire complementary palette, from baseboards to ceiling.

With a very small budget, I asked Marguerite for help in improving our older home. She was invaluable in choosing beautiful colours that I loved for walls, kitchen cupboards, counters, and tiles, and in installing a gorgeous wool runner for the hall and staircase. A few years later, with a slightly larger house and budget, Mulberry helped choose more paint colours and install wool rugs for living & dining room, a laminate floor in the basement, and a leather sectional sofa.
