Ryan started Living Stones in 2006 and has built a company with the most incredible team. His vision is to have an impact on the local community and to those in the global community who are in the greatest need. He has 13 years of hardscaping experience, with certifications in Paving Stones, Aqua Pave, and Segmental Block Retaining Systems.
In 2006, Living Stones began as a two-man company on southern Vancouver Island. Initially the company focused on the installation of paving stone driveways, patios and stairs. In the first 2 years, work was hard to come by, but through perseverance and hard work, Living Stones has built a good reputation and has become a viable business.
Living Stones specializes in challenging design-build installations and large-scale commercial construction from central to southern Vancouver Island. Our goal is to help you create your vision and provide a space that stands the test of time. We deliver our services on time and on budget. Whether the project is large or small, we will work to the highest possible standards.

When Living Stones pours concrete, great precision is used to ensure that each concrete surface is smooth and that future cracking is minimized. Aside from precision during the pour, we believe that a strong base for the concrete is needed. We achieve this by ensuring our excavation and other preparation is done to the highest possible standards.

We decided to take out all the grass from the small back garden and put a cement patio out there as well as new plants for the surrounding area.
LS were punctual, the crew were pleasant to work with and they got the project finished with the minimum amount of disruption and fuss. I highly recommend them and in fact we will probably use them next year when we tackle the front garden. AH

Livingstones fixed a stone wall for me, and did yard maintenance - it was out of control! They did a great job of removing stubborn ferns and other undesirables, and adding soil and plants! The staff are friendly and professional. I am looking into having them help with yard maintenance on a regular basis. BTW, no bias here!!
