In the early 1970's, Paul Pukas and his family saw the potential for a reliable and high-quality aggregate and ready mix concrete supplier to become established in the Shuswap area. Continuing on with the very same ambition, brothers Neal, Read, and Murray LaTosky bought Salmon Arm Ready Mix Ltd. in 2002.

Modern concrete still uses some of the fundamental ingredients that were used 2000 years ago, but with the addition of admixes, properly graded and clean aggregates, as well as refined and graded Portland cement.
