If you want to invest millions of dollars and be seriously let down and disappointed, Fieldgate is your option. Otherwise, if you want a quality home with exceptional service (or even adequate minimal satisfaction) definitely go elsewhere. Bought our first home from Fieldgate and the experience from the sales office to picking our keys was consistently horrible.
From initial crude salespeople who wouldn't answer questions from even though you are investing close to a million dollars into their business, to the poor workmanship of the home (gaps everywhere, paint splatter and left over sawdust

I had a very bad experience with Rui Araujo Construction Site Cooridinator at Fieldgate Homes. When you buy a home well over a million dollar you expect a certain level of professionalism and quality for a house instead of the bare minimum the builder can get away with.
I am truly disappointed with Rui and fieldgate, as they cannot own up and fix the issues they created. I will not buy another fieldgate home in the future and advise other people also to avoid them at all cost.

We purchased a home over a million dollars, the service we got was probably by far the worst anyone could imagine and the way they trick you into ther conningness and scam is very professional. Mostly emigrants are being scammed by their way of communication and threats. I will live in a tent but not buy a house from them again.

Absolute worse builder in all of Ontario. Never buying from them again. Very greedy and they make people come out during the pandemic. They select the details of the house for you and the people who work there have no level of professionalism. DONT BUY FROM THEM. I made a mistake and now i am paying for it.

Cityside release is a joke!
This builder has this poor reputation of managing releases poorly and it's on purpose. We decided not to waste our time going back almost 3 years and plus 5 phases.
It's this dog eat dog environment created where there's no organizationn. The builders don't care because they enjoy fleecing immigrants willing to pay everything for some property.

My family and I just attended the sales offices at thier Bluesky community after recieving numerous emails. We found the sales center locked with no explanation.
We went down the street and stopped at another builder that explained the sold out in a week and were not providing price list and sold with number of clauses to those whom did not care.
We are not impressed.

Refuse to Give Out Price List! The Bell Lake went from $1,408,888 in 2017 during the peak of the market to $899,000 just yesterday (May 8, 2019) in a flyer that arrived at my house. Looks like Fieldgate was just as greedy trying to over inflate their prices in 2017. Now two years later they have reduced their price for the same house by over a half a million dollars. Feel really bad for those who paid $1.4 m for a house in 2017 that is now selling for $899,000. I'll flip a picture of the flyer soon.

Stood in line for their recent New Klienburg release for over 36 hours and secured one of the first 6 places to get in to book home for my family to find out that the builder had already sold all the premium lots before even the official release. I find it very unethical as they were advertising all these lots up until the last day and the girl behind the counter confirmed to me that these lots are available. I have a young family so it wasn't easy to be away from home for days in the rain and cold. This is in addition to not releasing the price list before hand. After getting in on the day of

Got an e-mail to view the model homes. When I went there, the model homes where 'closed' and they sales centre had no idea when they would be opened.
The flyer can be misleading. For example, the 'Bell Lake' is not from $899,990, that's for the 40' 1821sf model. The prices are not reflective of the model shown. The fine print on the flyer lists the price that corresponds to the design square footage.

Worst builder ever. Do not buy home from them. Only sales office is good. Once your bought, everything get's miserable. Worst design center, no help at all. Warranty service is the worst of all. Specially they put this new lady name Nadia. Worst of all...They will not fix anything. They will just cover it up.. They use the cheapest contractors who lies for everything. Stay away from this builder. You will regret.
