Shayne and his crew did a first class job setting up with drop sheets in all traffic areas before starting removing old attic insulation and upgrading to R50, sealing vent pipes for drafts, upgrading my soffit venting and replaced the access cover to the attic compete with a proper air seal. The house was built in 1986. They also fogged the attic for any insects and deodorizing before blowing in the new Corning Blue Pro.
I am a tradesman myself and can tell when someone knows their trade and has pride in their work. Shayne answered all my questions and addressed any and all of my concerns.

I contacted Shayne because of the reviews I saw on Google. I don’t really trust on Google reviews comparing to other platforms and this experience validates that. I called him, he was nice on the phone and asked me to send a txt message with the details of the project. Any time a company asks me to do that, they never replies me back. This one was not different. Today marks 1 month that I messaged him and not a single answer. If the company is not interested, too busy, or whatever, a simple explanation would be sufficed.

In all the years of installing upgrades to my homes, adding insulation to the attics was by far the most immediately noticeable and return in value for comfort we have ever done. Absolute Insulation owner Shayne was professional and paid attention to detail even when tough areas were hard to get to. If you're going to spend thousands on heat pumps maybe look at your insulation first. I fully recommend Absolute Insulation.

Called Shayne to get a quote for updating some of our insulation in 2 of our attics, he came and looked at it and said that it was almost non existant, while he was in my home he made me feel so at ease that i also agreed to get another attic space updated as well. i have an ECOBEE 3 smart thermostat, and before the upgrades were were running our central heating system an average of 5 1/4 Hours per day to maintain 19 Degrees in our house (9 Degree outside temp average). now after the upgrades we average 1 3/4 hours of runtime for an average outdoor temp of 6 Degrees! its amazing how communicative

We got our attic updated from R-20 to R-50. There were many places where there was bare bone insulation. We constantly felt cold in our master bedroom and the bedroom in the front. Mr.Shayne was always prompt answers his phone he came on time to inspect our attic. He explained all the problem in the attic, very respectful and pleasant to talk to. I first found these guys searching on the web because I urgently needed to get poly vapour barrier installed for my ceiling before drywall after the other insulation guys I was in contact ditched us. This was over a weekend in the evening. Shayne himself was unavailable, but he offered and took time to phone a couple of his contacts to see if they could accommodate us. He found us 2 guys who came in on a Sunday and did the vapour barrier for us. He went the extra mile above and beyond to help us out.
