John Maier started Orillia Precast Concrete Limited in 1969. In 1989 his son and daughter-in-law, Dieter and Judi Maier bought the business from him. Orillia Precast is a family owned and operated business. Our main product is, and always has been septic tanks. It was the first item produced, with present production accounting for a large portion of sales.
In addition, we continue to offer a complete line of sewer and drain products, allowing our customers the convenience of one-stop shopping for all required septic system materials. From the beginning we have made well tiles, steps and patio slabs, adding manholes, catch basins, wall and modular building panels, and various landscape items to the product line in more recent years.
In keeping with current ecological trends, a wastewater treatment system was added. We are uniquely diversified, handling everything from modular septic and building units of several tonnes, to smaller ornamental products. Custom work is welcomed; Dieter is an expert in mould and concrete fabrication.
