We found Joan as she and team performed the neighbour's renovation. We needed a complete reno of a 40 year old bathroom. She came up with a plan, the renderings, respected our budget and we set out to do the work. The good part is we hate shopping, dont know where to start so she gives you 2 options, pick one. Looks fabulous and modern. Fast forward 1 year, time to update the house exterior. She outlined how stone, new paint colour, exterior lighting would bring the house into the 21st century. two choices, pick one. Whether you need her skilled labour staff or not you will get what you envisioned

Upon our neighbour’s recommendation, we commenced a 3 bathroom, & partial kitchen reno with Curtain Call in 2021. I hired Joan and her team to design and source a complete reno of the main bathroom after I watched her meticulous overseeing of the neighbour's whole house update. We had a budget and Joan's plan came in right on. She listened to what we were looking for and suggested design concepts we had not thought of. I thought the fee was reasonable. We were supplied with all we needed to do the work ourselves without the hassle of shopping. The design came with full renderings, specs, samples all professionally laid out. We would definitely recommend The Curtain Call and would use their services again.

I have known Joan for many years. Initially I used her services to address some complicated window covering needs in my home. More recently, we completed an interior resurfacing of our living room and dining room including furniture selections. Joan and her team are extremely professional and a complete joy to work with. I have had the benefit of working with The Curtain Call as both a vendor and client. As a vendor, there is nothing more fulfilling than working with a designer or builder who fully understands the process. We build custom wine cellars and much more is involved than lovely woodwork. There is climate control, electrical, plumbing, insulation, vapor barrier...all to provide a perfect environment for aging wines. I advise Joan on what is needed and before I know it, its completed and ready for us to do a perfect install.

Our relationship with Curtain Call (Joan) started in 2002 when we purchased a home in South Surrey. We checked out a few Interior Designors & selected Joan due to her years of experience, expertise and also as her proposals met our needs.
