Pre-pandemic review: I was assisted with choosing blinds and now know more about blinds than I ever imagined. I plan on returning to buy more. Also, I can't believe I'm writing a review on a blind store. I have far too much time on my hands.

I echo the sentiments of others who have had a horrible experience with Rob Ethier, owner of North Bay Blinds. He lacks professionalism and communication skills which are key to a successful business. Over a span of MANY months, he has not returned any of my calls, nor followed up regarding my order. This is disrespectful and rude. Finally, after months of frustration, I contacted Lisa at Stewarts, who ordered the same blinds from the same manufacturer, matching his price. They were ordered and installed within 3 weeks. I strongly discourage dealing with North Bay Blinds.

First, it was terribly difficult to make contact but we gave them the benefit of the doubt because of the pandemic. After two weeks and 3 e-mails/estimate requests he finally contacted us. He offered to come take measurements (because he was going to another place nearby) and he did. We chose some samples he brought with him and he told us he would get back to us with price estimates so we could choose motorized shades based on our budget. Since then (2.5 weeks ago) I have made two more attempts to contact them and no follow-up on their part. We have large, unique windows that require professional

So far, we've waited 4weeks. First the blinds were cut the wrong length. That did not show up at the stated time and did not call. We had to call them to ask about the delay. Hopefully this afternoon.

Honestly the worst! They never get back to you on anything, you will have to keep calling and hunting them down for everything, whether it be the quoted price, the actual blinds or what not. It honestly seems as if they don't want your business at all! Seriously it should not take over three months to get blinds!

My advice.... Find someone else!
