My wife called because there was a squeaking in the natural gas heater when it came on in the evening. The technician came to the house promptly which was nice. He shut it off and moved the blower some, which moves the air. Without further diagnosis he said it needed a new motor and they proceeded to find one in Prince George. The quoted cost for just the part was around 600 dollars, which for just an electric motor seems very high, I understand that things have increased in cost and therefore price recently but I feel this may have been inflated itself I cannot be sure.
