Fisher Tree Services is a forest, tree and vegetation management company that has been providing safe, cost-effective tree services in Ottawa and eastern Ontario for over 25 years. Founded in 1996 by Doug Fisher, the FTS team includes Doug's sons Bryson and Kyle, both certified arborists. We are a team of certified, professional arborists and forestry technicians that plan and safely execute all types of tree and vegetation management programs.
Storm damged trees can be a real hazzard - let us evaluate any risks and propose a solution with no obligation. If you have trees that need rejuvenation pruning or simply need some dead branches removed, we can help. Do you worry about a branch that seems too close to the house, or has a tree just grown to the point that it is taking up too much of the yard?.
As part of a partnership with the City of Ottawa, South Nation Conservation is offering an Ash Tree Replacement Program to assist landowners within the City of Ottawa, affected by the Emerald Ash Borer (EAB) on private property. Cost-share funding will support the removal of the infected Ash tree(s) and replacement with a native tree(s).

I saw Doug and Bryson removing a Pine tree from our neighbor's front yard. So I asked for a quote. Bryson (or Doug?) gave me a quote and we settled on a price that was within my budget (later I found out that I paid 2 times more than what my neighbour paid although our Pine tree was half size bigger). Overall, I was happy with their work. They are experienced in tree/stump removal. Another neighbor also asked me for their company name next year so that they can have them cut their dying tree.

We selected Fisher Tree Services from 5 quotes we received to remove trees from our property. The trees were huge maples 80-90', both front and back of the house. We were impressed from the moment they arrived. From the crane to a conveyor chipper, Fisher came equipped to efficiently and safely remove the trees from around the house. They moved quickly to dismantle the trees and remove the wood and debris. Many thanks to Doug, Bryson, Kyle, and crew

These guys cut down a huge tree on our street that is currently contested as a boundary tree. They cut it down with my neighbour (who is legally appealing the permit) sitting directly underneath it. The previous company that arrived on site decided it wasn't ethical to remove the tree under those conditions and left. These guys didn't care if it was contested or if someone got hurt. When we saw what happened and approached them, they laughed. I'll never hire them, based on what I saw today.

Thanks so much for coming by!! We had a dying crabapple tree that Fisher Tree Services took down safely and efficiently, and they even came by with the stump grinder the same day! Really great work :)
We also ordered a face cord of wood...never seen dryer wood before! Will be great for backyard fires as the weather gets colder.
Would recommend Fisher Tree Services to anyone needing some work done or in need of firewood. Their website is incredibly easy to use as well.

I cannot say enough about Doug and his team. Unbelievable service, they worked in 40C+ weather to clear many many large trees on our property. The team worked multiple 12+ hour days to complete. In the end, we had some 20+ very large trees removed, some spanned more than 120 feet high. Dougs team performed exceptionally with laser precision - there were some very tight spots. Stumps were ground below grade, clippings were cleared/chipped. Great crew. I would not hesitate to hire them again. Well done!! We thank you.
