Relocating your business can be stressful and time consuming. Our fully trained and experienced moving crew are here to minimize your stress and make your move easy.
Residential moves involve moving household furniture, packing miscellaneous items into boxes, and moving garage and outdoor items, or your home office. A local move can involve just moving a few items within the same building or an entire apartment or house across the town of Olds and surrounding area including Calgary.
Our fully trained and experienced moving crew are here to minimize your stress and make your move easy and swift. At Olds Moving, we understand that businesses have different relocation needs and we will customize our service to your requirements. The charges are normally based on an hourly rate from start to finish plus travel time and FSC (Freight Service Charge).
Moves that are over 160km are considered long distance, and are charged an approximate cost, travel time, FSC (Freight Service Charge), and 5% GST on the total. Note: An approximate cost will vary depending on how the client packed their contents, the accuracy of the items to move and their weights, and the access to the loading and unloading locations.
Most local Residential and Office Moves are charged by the hourly rate and 1/2-hour travel time getting to and from the move within Olds, 5% FSC (Freight Service Charge), and 5% GST on the total. The billing time starts when the moving crew arrives at the pickup location and ends when the move is finished.

Worst experience ever. I would recommend paying extra to use someone else as the quote with these guys ends up being higher anyway. Refused to move a piano even though it was in the quote. Heard them drop a box, ended up being broken dishes that we never got reimbursed for. Was told someone would be in contact to settle it. Very hard to deal with regarding broken items.
There is one employee who is very hard to deal with and talk to, the other two guys where friendly and good workers.
The final bill was upwards of $1000 over the quote. Said they didn’t take lunch so they charged us for that

We used Olds moving from for our recent move and all I can say is well done team. They did an amazing job getting everything done for us at a very reasonable cost and it was a joy to have them complete our move for us. Would highly recommend this company for people looking for movers at a budget friendly price.

Edmarie was very responsive and helpful. Arrived on time and packed up quickly. Only concern was that they had to wait for the driver of the big truck to return to drive the 3 blocks to my new house which took a lot of time and then the driver just sat and did nothing, Thought it was a bit weird not to help and get it done faster since he held things up. Actual movers were polite and fast. Would recommend and use again knowing that the driving may be an issue.

Olds Movers were excellent. The office explained in detail the cost break down, sent an estimator/adjuster to answer all of my questions. A big thank you to the movers Xenan, Reward and Blake who were fast, professional and friendly. Not one scratch on my furniture or on my freshly painted walls. Thanks guys! Would highly recommend using Olds Movers

I wouldn't recommend these guys .
They are pleasant to deal with until something goes wrong or gets wrecked.
If you talk to them to sort out issues they give you a bunch of excuses and stories till you get frustrated and ticked off.
The owner was willing to meet with me till I asked that his mover join us to get the stories straight, at hearing this he said he didn't like my tone and refused to meet. He hung up on me.
The movers denied doing damage to a $4000 chair and lied about wanting to charge me 3 hrs to take a desk apart to move it......
I did it in 20 minutes.
