Darryl joined us in 2013 and is a great asset to the Modern Heating family, bringing his expert knowledge as a gas technician to all our customers. Darryl is an expert also when it comes to knowledge on fireplaces. His caring attitude and upbeat personality is welcomed by everyone! Tyler joined the company in 2017 and it wasn't long before our customers were very pleased with his work ethics.

They charged $112 diagnostic, spent 10 minutes here and tried selling me a new air conditioner and that it wasn't worth spending money on mine because it's an older unit. He told me my A/C fan motor was shot and the capacitor was weak. Thankfully he wasn't able to find a replacement fan motor, but insisted we buy a new A/C unit and they would even finance us. On top of that he tried to get us to buy a new furnace!! He wasn't even there for the furnace!!! I had another company come to look at it, they said the fan motor is fine, changed the weak capacitor and the unit fired right up. Avoid these

When I bought my house, the very FIRST thing I had to do (the day I got the key) was have the furnace checked because it had quit the week before. (House was not occupied). It needed to be replaced and the service man said he remembered installing that furnace when he first started with the company (30-40 years earlier). They got a new one installed for me as quickly as possible, considering we were in a cold snap and they were busy. 5 years later, we're in a heat wave and I decided to get AC installed. They came promptly, gave me a good quote and had my AC in soon after. I find them courteous

Modern Heating has amazing service and quick response times. Our hot water tank blew out last night. We called them this morning and they were at our door within 30 minutes. It took less than 2 1/2 hours from the initial phone call to the time they were done and leaving to have a new tank installed and checking & cleaning our furnace as well. The service technicians were very polite and courteous and very quick. Definately a 5 star rating with bonus marks today.

Beyond impressed with the service, care and friendly customer service we received from Modern Heating! We called for a diagnostic test of our A/C unit as it had been on the fritz for the past week, they were prompt and had a technician out to our home the next morning! The technician who met with my in-laws for us was informative, honest and up front, and was quick to perform the diagnostic testing and provide us with a result. We were then able to reach out with the sales team and worked with Nathan, who made the effort to come by our house and meet with my in-laws on our behalf, and leave us

She was so friendly and accommodating on the phone. She set up an appointment after hours with Nathan without hesitation . Nathan came and talked to us about a few… choices . Very lovely young man. Extremely disappointed in the customer service! I have been charged $308/hr PLUS TAX for labour for 1 technician. Our furnace was having problems, the tech came out the same day. (He was nice and Im not an hvac person but I believe did a good job) 10 30 - 11 30 The tech diagnosed the problem which costs $99 plus spent some time trying to sell us a… new furnace, even had a sales guy on the way (which we didnt ask for and had him cancel.) The broken part was covered by the Goodman furnace warrenty but we could only get the part for free if he did the labour. The fan was also a bit louder lately
