UPDATE: Backstory - another company came in to look at why my furnace wasn't working, they charged $100 for the visit, quoted $2000 for a part and $4400 for a new furnace. After that I called Mike in to take a look. He came in and immediately noticed a hose was disconnected. Reconnected it and the furnace fire right up. He didn't charge me for the visit. It was very personable and I would hands down hire him again.

Critical: Professionalism
He quoted me a good price too disconnect my A/C and then significantly increased it after the work was complete. Very disappointing. He apparently did not properly drain the freon from the system as required and then charged me extra to fill it back up. I won't be using them again.

Can't say enough about the incredible service I received in the summer to fix my AC, called at 10am on a Friday when it was 40 plus with the humidity, they said they would do whatever they could to come that day as you can imagine how busy they are in extreme heat conditions...and they did at 4:45, issue identified and corrected by 5:15....I would highly recommend them

I emailed ProActive in the middle of the night about a broken furnace, and Mike responded first thing in the morning. He was able to fix my furnace the same morning, within 20 minutes. Cost me a fraction of what I was expecting! I don't think I was crazy lucky; Mike is just THAT good! He was communicative, honest, helpful, educational, and sincerely cared about my comfort. I can't give enough thanks to Mike at Pro-Active for his service fixing our a/c on the hottest day of the year so far and Canada Day as well. Since it was the long weekend, we were concerned our call would go directly to voice mail, but Mike answered and our repair was completed in under 2 hrs. A family member was suffering with a migraine at the time and having a cool house again was much appreciated. We highly recommend Pro-Active. Thanks again, Mike.
