We are proud to have been a part of this project with Vanglo Sustainable Construction Group. This energy-efficient home located on East 17th Ave in Vancouver is one of our favourite pieces of work over the last few years.

SSC Countertops Ltd. was established by Christopher Prince in 1988, specializing in solid surface countertops such as Corian. After spending 20 years developing expertise in his field, SSC decided to add both Natural and Engineered Stone to their lineup of products offered. Since 2005, SSC has two fully functioning shops, one for Solid Surface products and other for Stone products which includes Engineered Quartz, Granite, Marble, and Soapstone.
SSC Countertops works with a number of products in five main categories: Natural Stone, Quartz, Porcelain, Dekton, and Solid Surface. We work with all types of natural stone. The most common types that we work with are Marble, Quartzite, and Granite. We work with a number of local suppliers in Vancouver with slab galleries where you can view full slabs in person.
Projects begin with an idea and then a drawing/design. This rough or detailed design package should be sent to us along with a material choice and colour. I am so happy I chose to use SSC Countertops for my kitchen reno. I went through a few other companies prior and was very unhappy with the lack of communication and professionalism, especially with something so important to me. SSC immediately responded and got to work on my project. They promptly answered all of my MANY questions and were so polite and friendly in doing so. I'm am very happy with the service I received and even happier with the final product! They did an amazing job with my counter and I could tell they put a lot of care and detail in this, even if it may have been a smaller

Had purchased a free standing kitchen island from Ikea. Within a few months, the butcher block top started to split and warp. Like the island itself, and not sure if I did anything - or didn't do something, but if butcher block requires this much maintenance, it's not for us. Knew the guys at SSC and asked if this was something they could do. Provided the dimensions and description of the use, and voila! Could not have had a better outcome! It looks great, will be way more functional, everyone at SSC was a pleasure to deal with, service was prompt and the top turnout out exactly as expected
