At Pioneer, our mission is to provide our customers with premium building products at a competitive price. We are a family and locally owned business that mainly caters to a mix of builders, contractors, renovators, and do-it-yourselfers. Pioneer is currently on 4 acres of land, with a main retail space of 20,000 sq ft, and a separate warehouse of 16,000 sq ft.
We offer a variety of special services that set us apart as a leading Chilliwack building supplier. Our prompt delivery service is one of our biggest assets. Our in stock products can be shipped out quickly - usually same day and often within a few hours. All of our drivers are Pioneer employees and are licensed, certified and experienced.
Our customers demand high-quality lumber, and we don't give them anything less. We buy a high-grade, kiln-dried spruce for our dimensional lumber. Our 212's are Fir for its structural integrity and our 2x4x8's and 2x4x10's are either J Grade or Appearance grade - which is a higher quality grade of lumber.
General Paint is the only general purpose paint that we carry, and Pioneer has sold it for over 60 years. We choose General Paint because it is a high quality and affordable paint. They supply both exterior and interior paints and their colour chart offers more than a thousand different possibilities.
We sell Canadia- made BP Shingles (Building Products). Shingles are the most cost effective type of roofing, with a lifetime warranty. Most homeowners can install shingles themselves with instructions even written on the packaging. All you need to install shingles on your roof are a knife and a hammer (and maybe a few more hammers for the friends you tricked into helping you).
