The installer was knowledgeable, but company is expensive. Charged $250 per outlet regardless of time it took to install. Installer was there less than 4 hours and changed $750. I had them come back to extend the one outlet 1.5 inches (not their mistake) and they charged me another $225 for maybe 10 - 15 work.

Beware! This company gives faulty central vacumms and they don't stand by their products. When we used it the first time it stopped working in the middle of using it. We called Maplevac and they said they will send someone but they would have to charge us. Are you kidding me? We have a warranty too. We also called Fred ( the person that installed it) and he ignored our calls. Another red flag. Do yourself a favour and find a different company to purchase a central vacuum.

Was Recommened to maplevac by several neighbours on my street that have either bought from them or had service done. i also read these 2 negative reviews and was weary about them coming to our house...until i met them of course. Frank came to the house and completely explained everything in full detail (as i know nothing about vacuums lol). he was patient with me as i asked a lot of questions. i had issues with my installation as the previous home owner had got it installed before i moved in. frank fixed it with ease as he explained to me he had been doing this for over 20 years!! haha great personality
