Trees growing in urban environments like those found in Waterloo Region, must be regularly maintained in order to remain healthy and beautiful. It is necessary to conduct trimming and pruning of smaller branches, so that remaining ones have more space to properly develop. Otherwise, the tree could become jammed, with branches potentially breaking off and falling down in unpredictable patterns.
It is a common occurrence that old trees outgrow the available space, decaying beyond the possibility of recovery or start spreading roots underneath nearby objects or other trees. When something like this happens, it becomes necessary to remove the tree in a secure and professional manner. This is not an easy decision to make, as in some cases the tree had been in the same place for decades, but it mustn't be delayed due to sentimental reasons.

Martin's tree service just left after trimming our 2 very big sugar maples. They have done work for us down through the years.
They are absolutely the best at what they do. Such a professional and knowledgeable team.

The whole experience was excellent from start to finish. The assessment by Randy was very informative and helpful. Jeremy's team did an impeccable job, pruning branches on several large trees and removing a dead tree. I was amazed by how quickly the job was done, and how clean the team left my property. I would definitely recommend Martin's Tree Service!

The four man team that arrived at our house consisted of Jeremy, Joe, Ryan and Connor. My husband and I were impressed by the level of professionalism of each team member and the attention to safety. We have a large Ash tree that required pruning and it had rained the night before...so it was important to assess the safety risks and whether to move ahead with the job. They assessed the risks and decided to continue with the job and were done within an hour. There was no damage to personnel or to our property and they cleaned up the area before they left. We were extremely happy with the pruning

Very professional service! We had Martin's Tree Service remove about a dozen dead and dying trees from our woodlot as they posed a threat to the driveway. They also trimmed branches of large white pines that brushed against the house.
I couldn't be more happy with the work done. Tree removal, trimming, and clean-up. Friendly service.
From my initial contact with their office, communication was always timely and clear. I highly recommend them and will have them back when future need arises.

I am very pleased with their work. They removed three mature trees in a quick, professional manner. The complete job, from arrival to final clean up and departure took under two hours. Jeremy and his crew were excellent and quite personable and offered suggestions for the care of the remaining trees. The quotation (and matching invoice) was very reasonable for the work performed and I would not hesitate to use their services again should the need arise.

Jeremy and his crew did an excellent job making our backyard look even better. They quickly and neatly removed a dying evergreen and pruned several of our other trees. This was all done quickly, efficiently, and safely. They took the time to review what we wanted done during their visit and checked in at the end to make sure we were satisfied. Prices were reasonable. They left the job site neat. Highly recommend Martin's and in particular Jeremy's crew.

Today, Steve, Conrad and his crew came out to get rid of 3 trees in my front yard. They provided much needed entertainment in these sad Isolation times (my neighbours watched the whole afternoon!) What a great… team. It was nice to hear them laugh, they had a great time doing their job. Excellent communication skills between the team members. June 13 ,18 had Steve and his crew in to remove 4 rather large /old/dead ash tree's in my yard . Was completely amazed at the professionalism, how quick and efficient they got it done, the clean up was great short of some wood chips where the stumps were you wouldn't know they were here, very reasonable to boot! To bad I don't have any more dead tree's I could watch that again.
