Derek the technician showed up within 2 hours after the phone call. He was professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and taught me a lot about process of checking for issues and repair.
The price was more than fair. He did not just push us to buy a new unit, but went through the process to solve the problem. Much appreciated. Highly recommended and will use them again to replace our old unit in the near future. Thanks again

We had an amazing experience with Preferred Mechanical. The entire team - from owner Carl to the technicians to the office staff - all provide a high level of professionalism, customer service, friendliness, and product knowledge. Our 1957 Florida ranch home has an extremely tight attic space and over the years our duct work had been crushed and misplaced by electricians and cable workers. What an awesome company with great customer service. It was a ridiculously hot day, so I’m sure they were already crazy busy. A service technician arrived within 2 hours and was leaving 45 minutes after that with the AC fixed and cooling. They know what they are doing and the service was second to none. The first repairman was excellent! I would give him 5 stars. He found a wire for the pump that was not even connected that 2 other repairmen before him didn't notice. The second one from this company didn't even take the front off. Told me my coils were dirty. The home inspector that came before the second repairman never said that but messed up the AC unit. I moved shortly after that. Let me say again, the first repairman from this company was excellent.

Mother taught me growing up , to treat the janitor the same way as I treat the CEO. I have no choice but to think carl the owner has trained his employer to have the same attitude.

When my AC compressor broke i called several different companies to fix or replace it but no one could fit me in their schedule quickly, nor did they take the time to explain the cost and pros and cons of each unit the way Preferred did. Jaime came out the next day to give me an estimate and i felt very secure with the info he gave me and was able to make an educated decision for which unit to purchase. As a builder I feel fortunate to have connected with them and there level of expertise. Carl personally does all our energy calcs and system designs for all our homes. His staff and technicians are highly trained and very professional weather it be on my job sites or in one of my clients homes.
