Robert Weiss and Donald Johnson began Weiss-Johnson Sheet Metal Ltd. in 1977 with nothing more than a pick-up truck, a box of business cards and a bank loan. They knocked on doors and stapled business cards to partially built homes in the booming area of Mill Woods. Parts and supplies were stored in Bob's basement and later in his garage while the office was housed in Don's home, eventually sharing space with a nursery.

The building was designed by Mark and Donald Johnson and we have had to redevelop mezzanine storage space into more offices as the company grew exponentially in 2015 and 2016. We have also had to add outdoor storage space and more mezzanine space as we continue to expand. Our showroom has been a key component to our business as we have on display all kinds of options that a customer may want to look at adding to their home mechanical system.
Over the years Weiss Johnson has been a proud supporter of many local charities some of which include the Edmonton Food Bank, Ronald McDonald House, MS Society, Winnifred Stewart, Edmonton Oilers Community Foundation and the Edmonton Down Syndrome Society. In 2009 Mark and Kira Johnson were blessed to have a baby boy Colin with Down Syndrome and this immediately led to a strong connection to this charity.

From scheduling the service thru to Marty the service person, our experience was very professional and friendly. Marty in particular came by when my spouse was home to service, and she indicated he explained clearly and professionally in addition how well he treated our home. I followed up with Marty for my own information, and he took the time to tell me about his work, the warranty, and early warning sign to watch for on this furnace.

I have been a long-time customer of Weiss&Johnson, They replaced my hot water tank, and repaired my furnace.
Or even recommend them to my colleagues at work.
That all changed till Christmas Eve, my hot water tank failed.
I called them up at about 5:45 PM, on the website they say they have a 365 day 24 seven call out policy.
I told her we were I was desperate to get the hot water tank repaired, over Christmas we have company coming over so we’re gonna be really busy and we’re gonna need hot water. I respect that it’s a bad time to ask them to come out.
They said flat out we can’t help

Everyone at Weiss-Johnson was extremely professional from beginning to end. My furnace was "acting up" and I contacted Lisa in the Service Department, who asked questions and took the time to answer mine. Within 48 hours a very knowledgeable technician (who was early for the appointment!) walked me through the inner workings of the furnace and pin-pointed, within minutes, what he thought the problem was. Voila! All is now good and I am a very happy "camper"!

I am so pleased with Cory and his helper. My furnace had not been working, and they ensured that I had heat that night. They returned the next day to install my hot water tank. Like I said they ensured that my furnace was up and running the first day. When Cory and his helper arrived they went straight to work and did not stop until the furnace was running. I was so appreciative. I was impressed with the job they did very nice. Looked clean and professional. I would definitely recommend this company and the people they hire are well picked.

I’m a first time home owner and was looking to install AC for the new home.
My close friend referred me to Ken at Weiss Johnson and I was very well pleased with the entire experience from getting a free quote to complete the installation and operation!
I was a bit sceptical about AC companies out there due to lack of experience on pricing and what to expect, and loads of horror stories on the internet was not helping.
But Weiss Johnson quickly took away my concern!
