They prepared us very well for what to expect on installation day, and the installation went very smoothly - no surprises, all very professional! Not only was Novel Care crew knowledgeable with assessing the ductless heat pump repair, he also added value to the visit by providing tips on how to take care and also fixed some of the things that weren't done during the initial install by another company.

Called them to address a leak in our ductless AC unit. Tech claimed he fixed the problem. Leak reappeared immediately after his visit. He returned, claimed once again it was fixed. Called a new company, cleared the issue (pipes had been moved outside the house out of our line of sight). Novelcare charged us without solving anything. Didn't return my calls requesting a partial/full refund. I appreciate someone took the time for a site visit, but can't reconcile a full charge for not having solved a problem.

Great at selling you new products. Not so good when it comes to after sales service and providing you with competent service technicians.
I purchased a new Napoleon central air conditioning unit from Novel Care in July 2020. I am required to use Novel Care for annual maintenance of the unit to maintain my extended warranty with them. They completed the first annual service in April 2021 and the a/c stopped working in May 2021. They attempted to repair the unit on May 14th; they topped off the coolant and added sealant to the system (so they say). The a/c broke down again on May 28th. While I was

Dan did a thorough assessment of my older heat pump and provided me with some options. Once I decided on replacing the system, Brendan took measurements and also took his time answering all my questions (including follow-up questions by phone!). I feel happy with the Panasonic unit I purchased. A few days later, Nate and Spencer came to install the ductless heat pump system . They arrived on time, were very professional and worked for hours to install the new ductless. I received a call from the office on july 1st after the review was published. The gent I spoke with was apologetic and promised to make things right. And they came through on their promise. They sent in a professional named L**yd, and he was fantastic. He actually worked through the system and did the job that they were paid to do. I am appreciative of The second technicians attention to detail . I wish they had sent in this fellow originally.
The company also offered me a courtesy tune up.for 2022. Which is great. It shows that the company actually cares about

Terrible after-sales customer service. With all due respect to great reviews for this company, I have a Mitsubishi ductless unit at my house and have had issues with it for almost a year. Alam, the Manager, was the least helpful and to this day, the company has made 3 visits (the technicians were great) to my house without a resolution. The last conversation I had was Alam asking me to get in touch with their lawyers. It turns out, they have installed the wrong unit and is now refusing to replace it with the correct one.

The installation was fine. Not pleased with payment situation. Be sure to read the fine print because they require prompt payment by cheque once service is rendered. I am a front line worker and I was not at home when the job was done. Novelcare had my credit card on file because they charged it for the deposit, and I thought payment would not be a problem with credit card. Upon completion of the work, they added a 3.4% surcharge on credit card payments. They did not charge this surcharge on the initial deposit. Money was paid on time. I asked the sales rep Andrew to reverse the surcharge, but
