Advanced Home Services, which is locally owned and operated, first opened its windows and doors to the city of Windsor/Essex County in 1988.
Original partners, Glen Dereniowski and Wayne Marchand, started the business more than 33 years ago working out of a garage, and are proud to have expanded their staff and facilities to their current location, with great thanks to their impressive customer base that generates a combined 75% of repeat business and referral sales.

Wow, what a great first time experience with Advanced. Vince and Wayne were the ultimate professionals, real care was taken during the installation of storm door and interior door. They shared information about the install prior to getting to work. Highly recommend Advanced for door and window needs. We just had all the windows in our house done this week - 22 windows total - 3 were oversized and 1 bay window. They did an AMAZING job! We were so impressed by how professionally they worked and how they cleaned up everything as they moved along. They showed up on time and worked carefully to make sure nothing was damaged. We had some windows that required matching to an existing stained wood trim and they matched it exactly. We had our front door redesigned and replaced by Advanced and could not be happier! Mark was fantastic with helping us chose the design and explaining all the fine details with the layout. The finished product looks fantastic and we have gotten a lot of compliments already. We even have neighbours with similar homes asking us for more information.

My husband and I couldn't be happier with the service from start to finish. Glen came to our house and was very informative about the process and made it seem more like we were having a conversation and not trying to hard sell us. Once the door arrived it was installed by 3 very nice gentleman. They were professional and did a wonderful job including all the clean up. Glen even stopped by to see how things were going and brought us coffee. Seems like a great place to work judging by how Wayne treated his crew. Had windows installed at my home today by two very professional installers (Vince & Jack). They were prompt, knowledgeable & courteous. They worked as a team and the job was completed without issue. Before they left, I was shown how to open/tilt the double hung windows for cleaning purposes in the future, how to remove the screens for cleaning, etc. They made sure the area where they worked was left clean. A beautiful job - love the windows! I would definitely recommend Advanced Home Services.

I was referred by a good friend who had many windows replaced over the years by Glen and his crew. My experience was very good. Glen is an easy guy to work with. He didn't complain when I made a change to my order. His installation crew were on time, courteous and eager to answer any questions I may have had during the installation. I had replacement windows installed 20 years ago and I dealt with Glen (stand up great guy) and Wayne (great guy as well) installed them. 20 years later when my daughter needed windows we dealt with Glen and Wayne installed them again. That’s when you know that you are dealing with a great… company. Workers that stick around that long is priceless.
Then when my daughter didn’t want to put up her old blinds because she didn’t want holes in the trim, Wayne showed us how to cut them down.
