Tedford installed 3 doors at our new house and about a year later the GPS based auto door closer in my car screwed up and I ended up damaging one of the door panels. I paid Tedford to replace the panel which was done promptly. The problem, (and the 5 star review) stems from a problem with the trim glue from the factory not holding properly. Tedford came out promptly 3 times to re-glue the pieces but nothing held. Finally everyone agreed to remove the panel, take it back to the workshop and strip it back and glue / clamp / paint it before it gets reinstalled. Cam was amazing and directed his team

Called Tedford garage doors because our door spring snapped and we had a worn out motor. At 1st point of contact by telephone the receptionist was friendly. So pleased they could book us in the next morning. The company's means of communication updates was helpful and appreciated. Jason Beatty, the technician arrived as scheduled. Friendly efficient and knowledgeable. Jason spent time to explain operation, features as well, guided the process to sync my phone to the unit. Exemplary representation of Tedford garage doors. We contacted Telford Doors to replace the opener for our 30+ year old garage door, plus get new remotes and install a keypad. Avery arrived the next business day to check it out, provide a quote, and actually do the work! Avery was professional, personable and knowledgeable. After evaluating our current equipment, he suggested an alternative solution to the full replacement we'd expected, which was significantly less cost and was all we really needed. We appreciated his honesty and that he didn't try to upsell us.

I was very impressed at getting same day service when I called Tedford about a failed garage door opener. It turned out that my whole system was in need of updating and Randy explained the options with no pressure at all. Once the new installation was complete, he explained clearly how to operate it, including the new, more sophisticated technical aspects. Thanks Randy!

Our new Avante garage door was installed yesterday. We are thrilled with it. It looks great and certainly improves the look of our house. It runs very smoothly. The frosted glass allows so much light into the garage. Everyone we dealt with at Tedford was great. We are so glad Tedford was recommended to us.

I contacted Tedford for a look at my garage. It only took a few hours and Avery had shown up. He was very complete in assessing my broken garage. We talked about a few options but the suggestion of a new door was the best. So I ordered a new door to be installed. He presented me with lots of options and colours for my new door. I picked one and after confirmation of financing and type of door and colour. They have just contacted me and let me know it was ordered and will contact me on arrival and installation. Totally professional and would recommend this company for future work as well....

Our garage door opener quit after a power outage and Tedford had a technician out to help us within a couple of days. We received a text confirmation that he was on his way and a follow up email when the job was finished. Big shout out to Randy. He was fantastic, very professional, and did an excellent job. Would definitely recommend this company.

My experience today with Randy of Tedford Overhead Doors & Gates was a very positive one to say the least. Randy is professional, courteous, honest and forthcoming. I asked for the quote, was given the response and the opportunity to ask questions. The completed work was done in a timely and efficient manner and there was no mess or cleanup required upon departure.
