Vinyl Windows are no longer a cheap alternative to wood windows. Vinyl windows have become the window of choice from architects to designers to homeowners. An awning window is a casement window that is hung horizontally, hinged on top, so that it swings outward like an awning. Emilie Poisson designed this window. Awning window - a cousin to the casement window. Where the casement is hinged on its side, the awning is hinged on top with the opening on the bottom.
At 4 1/2 jamb depth, the Ultra Window is thicker than the typical replacement frame. This means that you can cover more of an opening in a retrofit installation and use fewer accessories in a rip out or new construction installation. The Series 800M Casement and Series 850M Awning allow for our optional new hidden screen technology.

We used Encore Windows & Doors to replace the windows on our main floor, and they also took on the challenge of building a box-bay window we had envisioned for our daughter's bedroom. Anthony was very professional, and had our best interest in mind (even warning us that the box-bay window might not be worth the $ for the additional space but we decided to go for it). When it came to installation, the team was right on time, tidy and worked efficiently. Overall, we're very happy with the way the new windows turned out and would definitely recommend them!

New Double Front doors: This was my first time using Encore Windows & Doors and I am beyond happy with my experience. From start to finish Anthony was great to work with. Not only did he help me with my decision on the doors I was updated on the progress through the whole experience. The Installation was seamless and the staff were very experienced. After my windows were installed I noticed leaking. I sent photos to Anthony and asked him to come have a look. He replied by asking me to send photos, although I already did, and no other response. Several months passed and I didn't want to pressure the since I understand the pandemic is difficult for businesses. Finally after no word, I contacted them again. Again i was asked to send photos and I pointed out to them to look at my first email with photos attached. Again, no word back. It has been OVER a year since I reached out to them. I get the feeling that they hope I'll just stop trying if

Encore Windows and Doors is the best. We have had many contractors work on our home over the years...but we feel the need to go out of our way and credit Encore for an amazing job! Our sales rep Michael was very informative. He was able to assess our needs and meet every single one of them. The installation crew was polite and respectful. We have a small child with severe health issues, but Encore was able to work around our unique schedule to get the job done; it was done on time. The installers cleaned up after themselves. The windows look great and we already notice the savings on our energy

My parents contracted Encore to replace the windows in their house (Spring 2018). It has been an arduous and frustrating process for several months now. Encore postponed the work date several times and with little to no notice. They cited their crew was overworked and overbooked. First off, that's not my parents' fault as the client. That's a management issue. My parents paid good money for Encore's services. When the Encore crew finally did show up, they did the work, but it felt rushed. My parents found out during the first rain storm that one of the windows was leaking
