The Townshend Team recently installed a Napoleon gas fireplace for us. Very happy with the entire process and the end result is exactly what we wanted. Also, from past experience I can tell you that this company stands by their work. When I called them last year with an issue I was having with a chimney they built for us 9 years ago, they came and fixed it completely free of charge.

Thank you Ron and crew for making everything so easy with such little time and effort, although we know the hard work put in everyday. We were so smart to wait for the best. We had the best. Ron was right to suggest to take the chimney down, and cap it. As Ron put it, "We have the cutest little chimney'. Thank you again and the place was spotless. I had chunks of brick and concrete falling from my chimney for some time. I called 3 companies for quotes and after meeting with Walter, it was very clear this gentleman knew his craft (second generation). Excellent pricing, kind and knowledgeable, and decades of experience won him the job. Arrived as scheduled on time, the team was polite, knowledgeable and worked hard. Amazing job by Ron and his team! We required a liner to be installed in our chimney in advance of a gas fireplace install. They handled the job quickly and efficiently, and did a great job of cleaning up at the end. They also offered some suggestions for chimney work to improve longevity, which they handled at the same time. Super crew, great to work with!

Ron Townshend has down multiple projects for me, and he’s become the first person I call when something goes wrong in my home. You know when you just find someone who’s just “the best” at what they do? That’s him. He’s given me very good advice, explains well, charges and fair price and even fixed shoddy work from previous contractors. Walter Townshend & Sons lawn signs are all over my neighborhood for a reason - You cannot go wrong!

I cannot tell you enough how amazing Ron Townshend is. My chimney needed to be repaired. I had a light bulb in my fireplace which he immediately took care of with his electrician. I needed these special size vents for my fireplace he noticed they were missing and I said I bought some at Lowe’s but they didn’t have the right size so my husband was going to drill new wholes in. He said let me have a look and found me the exact same size. He was referred to me by someone else and I’m so glad I reached out. Excellent service and did an excellent job.

Hired Ron Townshend to fix a failing chimney that is required for furnace and hot water on a primary home. Not only was the job scheduled and completed quickly (especially important on the cusp of winter), but the work was exceptional.
I appreciated having the proposed work explained to me and Ron took the the time to show me the poor state of the materials removed.

I hired these guys to fix my chimney that was badly in need of repair. They got job done in a single day the same week that I got the estimate from them. I barely even noticed they were up there.
I've been up on the roof to take a look at the work and it's perfect. Brand new chimney stack and crown. Excellent work.
Not only that, but they also went above and beyond by getting me quotes on roof repairs from a bunch of different contractors they trust and helped me choose the best one to handle my roof repairs.
I'm hiring them again later this year to install a new vent for my bathroom and dryer
