During the latest wind storm a few days ago, I found some shingles in our side yard. I called Halco, who had installed the roof 2y ago, and left a voice-mail. The following morning, they showed up, guaranteeing it wouldn't be my shingles. They had a look on the roof and indeed they weren't mine.
Very happy we chose Halco when we had our roof redone. Local company, super responsive and they back their own work.

To Larry and Lisa and to the whole team we thank them for a seamless process and professional roof installation. Everything was explained and the staff was very professional and respectful. Replaced a roof that wasn’t properly installed in 2006 and happy with the outcome from halco roofing. You can’t go wrong if you choose this company. 5+ stars.

After 19 years, our asphalt shingles (IKO) were in desperate need of replacement.
We obtained re-roofing quotes for architectural fiberglass shingles (GAF) from 3 local roofing companies, Halco being one of them. We accepted Halco’s quote and have not been disappointed.
Their installation crew arrived on the day promised and quickly had the existing shingles stripped off and then proceeded to install the new roof (ice shield, underlayment, vents, flashing, shingles) again quickly and efficiently. After the installation was complete, there was a thorough clean up of any yard debris.

Very professional and prompt. They installed a replacement skylight in my kitchen. The existing skylight did not open and we wanted one that would. Halco gave us all of the options and we went with a solar powered opening skylight from Velux. We have been really happy with the roofing job and happier with the skylight. (no need to remember to close it if it rains - here is a rain sensor). I would highly recommend this company.

We recently had to replace our residential roof. After obtaining a few quotes we decided to go with Halco Roofing and we were really pleased with our decision. Pricing was competitive, not the lowest but as is always the case, you get what you pay for. Larry took the time to explain what you get for your investment and there are definitely benefits to paying a bit more for long term peace of mind including the warranty. My neighbour checked out pricing from several local roofing companies. We live in a Burlington Townhouse row and my end unit along with my neighbolur's (attached), needed new roofing. They were previously done in 2001.
Larry of Halco attended and gave us the best written quote. It was not the cheapest, but I must say, the best explained. He answered questions and explained what would be done, material to be used and pricing for any new plywood sheets that may need to be replaced.

We hired Halco Roofing to do a complete roofing job, removing old shingles, putting down new underlayment, ice shield, metal valleys and flashing, and shingles. We received 4 quotes from different roofers and selected Halco. They were not the lowest quote, but they were not the highest quote either. We chose Halco based on the initial interview, Larry answered all of our questions thoroughly and explained fully what the crew would do. We also had two excellent references. They started on the day they promised and were finished on time, and they did not a have a boom box radio blaring all day
