The history of mirrors began long ago when images were reflected from a pond, lake, or even a well. In ancient times crudely designed hand mirrors, or looking-glass were made from polishing plates from stones or metals such as bronze. These so called mirrors quickly became dull and oxidized. Over thousands of years eventually glass with and without a combination of metals was used.
Yes it is possible. Do you have a mirror with a beautiful beveled edge, And maybe with some floral designs, Or it could be a family heirloom. But the mirror does not have that clear brilliance it once had when you first purchased it or maybe it has a haziness and some streaking that is starting to show through.
Frick's Glass & Mirrors also carries a wide variety of standard and custom sized Table tops, Glass Shelving, and Mirrors. Choose one of our mouldings and we will make you a custom frame. Jamie, the owner, is so nice! He's also very responsive, professional and knowledgeable. I ordered a mirror for my bathroom, and his quote was reasonable and more affordable than another business I inquired with. He was prompt with all his in-home visits, and my order was completed within only a little over a week.

Just purchased a huge mirror for our bathroom and the process was SO much easier and quicker than I thought! The owner was super helpful when I called for an estimate providing me with multiple options and quotes. He also did some education around mirrors and their finishings and pricing. Once the order was placed it only took few days to complete. The delivery was timely and effortless. My husband and I are loving our new bathroom mirror and will totally order all our future mirrors at Frick’s!
