Services
Swing Optical was originally opened in Mission, B.C. in 1985 by Craig and Deb Poole. They owned and operated the growing business for the next 20 plus years. Then, in 2006 the family passed the business on to Satnam Grewal. Satti, as he is known to everyone, takes great pride in his work and his family.
Dr. Lyndon Balisky received his Doctor of Optometry from Pacific University in Forest Grove, Oregon. His father was an Ophthalmologist in Chilliwack where Lyndon grew up. He has been providing primary eyecare in Mission for the last 10 years after taking over for Dr. Bowden. He is involved with the Downtown Business Association and enjoys many outdoor activities here in the Fraser Valley.

UV and Blue-Violet light are present everywhere no matter the weather or place. Made an appointment, had to wait 2 months in advance, then when I went in they told me I had cancelled it. They were also quite short and rude about the situation. They gave me the option to wait until they had a spot open, but weren't able to tell me when. Not sure why this place has such a good rating, horrible service and rude employees who don’t seem to care to rectify their mistakes.

They won't let you take photos of the frames which is weird because every other place allows it. They also say they don't sell discontinued frames but they do. Got mad for putting frames down lens first which is semi understandable but if your buying the frames it shouldn't matter because the lenses get changed anyway. Eye doctor is chill tho but I would avoid buying lenses here.

I'm very impressed with the service. I purchased a pair of frames at another optometrist and after going back 3 times to get them sized, I was still having headaches. Came here to see if they could help me and the gentleman ended up sizing then perfectly. He didn't even charge me for his time! I'll be going here from now on!

Worst ever glasses replacement in my 50+ years of wearing glasses.
The in house optician gave me the wrong prescription for the left eye twice in a row and the sales person twice told me to wear them and see I would get used to it. Prescription was completely off according to my ophthalmologist. Salesperson finally figured out the error his optician made and cut a proper lens. Salesperson said to come in later and he would put sunglass lens in my other frames and promptly broke my RayBan frames while doing so without any heat applied then told me he would give me a deal on new frames and quoted

Very positive experience! Everyone was friendly and very nice. Helped me pick out some lovely new glasses that I took home that day! My last pair took like two weeks for me to go and pick up, so that was very exciting for me. Highly recommend if you're looking to get some new glasses, or even just going for a routine check up.
