Amazing service from the electrician on the service call and the office --professional, friendly, efficient, and informative. I got quotes from three different electrician businesses. I thought that the first quote $3000 was too high for the work I needed done - the electrician stated it would be a whole day's work.
The next quote seemed fair at $1300 and it would take at least 5 hours to do the work.
I phoned Wicks Electric to ask if they could come over and give me a quote. I was told that their only quote was $120/hour. So I thought, "5 hours times $120/hour equals $600 plus materials, that a better price than the price quoted by the other two companies."

Wicks Electric recently did two small jobs for us (installation of a new lighting fixture and a new bathroom fan). We were really pleased with the whole experience. We received a prompt and courteous response to our initial enquiry and scheduling was easy. The electrician was on time, organized, quick, and we're very pleased with the results - it's great to be able to check these items off our to-do list. We needed small electrical work in our new office. We reached out to Wicks electrical and they replied to us with a quote immediately. Not even 24 hours later we had Max in our office installing lights. I was super impressed how fast they came out and completed the job. Max was awesome to work with. Super fast, clean and accurate. It’s not typical of trades to deliver fast and clean work let alone have a guy at your door step that fast. Highly recommend their services.

This is the second time we have used Wicks and are we glad we did!
Starting from the first person who answered the phone (Ryan), to Cathy who called back to take my information to schedule the electrician and to the electrician himself (I asked my husband to get his name, but...) who knew exactly what to do and how to do it.
Also, without naming the other company, we were given a quote for the same amount of work for $705! Wicks did it for more than $450 cheaper!
Thank you very much to the team at Wicks! Do not change a thing, unless it is for the better, but really, how can it get much better

Amazing! Such fantastic work. Dean came out to install three light fixtures in my condo. He was professional, friendly, and honest! And no hidden charges. Although I did not have Wicks do work for me, I can only say how positive an experience I had with them. Specifically, I had emailed a question about how much it would cost to fix the load on one of my circuits (turn on a light and the whole room goes dark!). I sent it late afternoon.
Oddly I get up at about 3 am each morning and already there was a detailed reply. The person from Wicks took the time to explain what the issue likely was, educated me about code, and offered two options. One was to do nothing just be careful what is on at the same time...thus, free. The other solution asked that

Adam and his team are fantastic to work with and I would strongly recommend them. They asked the right questions, got a good understanding of our needs and came back with appropriate options.

Very friendly and helpful staff. They installed a new electric panel (Siemens) and my new contractor said it was a good panel as it was easy for him to retrofit some new breakers and split up some old ones.
They also installed 10 potlights for me and a 208 Volt for my new dryer.
I ran into a little trouble when I got inspected for a kitchen renovation a year later because of a new city regulation requiring that I retrofit fire breaks above the potlights, and Adam at Wicks agreed without hesitation to reimburse me for my time and materials.
I'm very pleased with them and Adam has a lot

Chris the electrician that worked with us was a nice guy and very fair. There were a number of concerns I highlighted to Kathy and Chris related to the first visit. They quickly addressed my concerns and rectified the situation in a mutually agreeable manner. Result was 100% satisfaction.
Nice people and the company has a customer first approach to how but manages its business. Stuff doesn't always go perfectly in life or business...the true measure of greatness is how something that is less than perfect is sorted out. Chris and Kathy left me feeling like Wicks cares about its customers.

Let me start by saying that i never actually had Wicks complete our electrical project.
However, it wasn't short of the prompt and wonderful service from Cathy. She was prompt and when she wasn't sure she went out of the way to get the answers for me.
My husband found another electrician that worked over the weekend otherwise for sure I would have gone with Wicks and Cathy for her being awesome!

Last year we had a flood in our strata owned rental unit in our building. Wicks Electric was a part of the team that restored the unit and council was extremely happy with the results. I contacted Wicks Electric on a Sunday, and by Friday after work, my job was complete! We recently moved into a new development, and as seems to be a new trend, there was no lighting put in the living room, or the bedroom. We wanted 4 pot lights put in the living room and a ceiling flush mount light in the bedroom.
