Octavio's team came to install a 240 V plug in our kitchen so we can replace our gas stove with electric. I was happy with the online consult and the reasonable quote. The guys installing the wiring had trouble getting the cable from our 2nd floor panel to the 1st floor kitchen. But they communicated well and didn't charge any extra fees when the job took an extra day to finish. There's a fair bit of drywall repair to do now, but I'm pretty happy with the job they did.

We hired Octavio and his team given previous customers’ comments about their expertise in knob and tube removal. They brought the electrical up to code in our 110 year old home. We were worried walls needed to come down, but they were able to rewire the house by making minimal cuts to the walls. The guys are friendly, courteous, and reliable. They kept us updated on their progress, and when they encountered a complication, worked with us to find a solution. We would recommend Wirechief for anyone who needs to remove K&T wiring with precision.

We hired Wirechief to remediate aluminum wiring in our house and to install some new fixtures. Octavio is great to work with and took the time to explain the process. Oliver, Ben and Edmond were on site for about a week and flawlessly performed the work. They were neat and tidy and exercised a high degree of care when they had to cut a few holes in to the drywall to run a new circuit which made it super easy to repair after the work was done. I highly recommend Wirechief and will be sure to hire them again for future electrical needs.

We recently completed a big rewiring of knob & tube with not-to-code handyman specials done over the decades in a 100 yr old house. It was long overdue to be modernized and for insurance purposes. It was a challenging project that grew in scope from the initial plan and we are glad we chose WireChief. Our 6 unit strata recently hired WireChief Electric to do a "full electrical system review" that was required by our insurers. We originally thought we would have the electrical review completed by WireChief and then obtain quotes from 3 or 4 electricians for the repairs, but I think we all now agree that having the report and the repairs completed by WireChief was the most efficient and cost effective approach. Octavio, Ben and Edmund were amazing - the report was comprehensive, estimate for repairs accurate and cost very reasonable, scheduling of repairs timely and flexible, and the work itself

I solicited multiple quotes for the socket work. This company is very competitively priced and I liked how it was a fixed price (as opposed to an hours rate with no fixed # of hours).
Availability for work was very quick which is nice to get the wiring job done.
Staff arrived on time, used drop sheets to keep the area cleaned. They worked quickly and efficiently (two people came). When they were done, they cleaned up nicely with a vacuum. Fixing the drywall was my responsibility (which is standard) and it was well communicated. Invoice was in my email inbox the day before

WireChief rewired the electrical system of my property. It was a $11,000+ job. I had to chase them down for the final report. Communication was spotty. I had another job but they didn't seem interested in giving me a written quote despite doing the first job. If you're in a situation where your insurance company compels you to upgrade your electrical system under a quick deadline, your choices are limited. I am not an electrical expert and knew very little about the work itself. It's a game of blind trust. The options WireChief offered were very expensive. In hindsight I would have shopped around

Very friendly and helped me understand what needed to be done, and then completed the job quickly and efficiently.… They cleaned up after themselves and took away all of their garbage, which is super important too!
