Laminate floors are reasonably easy for a DIY homeowner to install. Laminate flooring is packaged as a number of tongue and groove planks, which can be clicked into one another. Sometimes a glue backing is provided for ease of installation. Installed laminate floors typically "float" over the sub-floor on top of a foam/film underlayment, which provides moisture- and sound-reducing properties.
Carpet is a soft floor covering made of bound carpet fibers or stapled fibers. Carpeting refers to wall-to-wall coverage, whereas a rug is simply used to cover a space. This type of flooring is typically used indoors and can be used in both high and low traffic areas. It typically lasts for 15-18 years before it needs to be replaced.

Conveniently right off Highway 400 & Canal Rd in Bradford, we approached Khushru and the PearlKnstructions team about installing new hardwood floors throughout our home. We were quoted two weeks for the construction project, start-to-finish including both demo and removal of carpets, baseboards and old hardwood flooring. The installation team, under the direction of foreman Tony were meticulous, hard-working and on time. Despite a few changes and challenges we faced along the way - Khushru and team had great communication throughout the process, were flexible AND delivered a quality finished product

Kushru is very knowledgeable, very helpful. My husband and I had a great experience working with him. He came few times to meet us, gave us his honest opinion and stayed within our budget. They did flooring throughout our rental property. Kushru and his team went above and beyond and exceeded our expectation. Pearlknstruction did my hardwood floor. I viewed many stores and the price of the hardwood was bought at a great price compared to the stores that I had view. They removed the carpet and put down
our new flooring. They were fast professional and clean. They put in potlights which I love and painted our wall so that everything would look fresh and new. What a difference my this made to my home. I am very pleased. They came on time and finished the work. I would highly recommend this company and would definitely use them again.

Just got our home renos done by them. Vinyl flooring, backsplash and pantry cupboards. Five stars to Khushru, the owner, in terms of service-with-a-smile, on time completion and last but not the least excellent job. He has taken care of every little demand we had without a question. Highy, highly recommendable.
