In the early 1970's Chatsworth Fine Homes' founder, Fil Capuano, plied his trade as an apprentice, working on some of England's Grand Victorian estate homes. Captivated by the artistry of the skilled craftsmen he laboured under, and following in his builder Father and Uncle's footsteps, Fil was committed to continuing his craft and established Chatsworth Fine Homes in Canada.
Building a premium, custom home from scratch is no small feat. For almost 40 years we have accumulated a great deal of knowledge on the fine details of premium home construction, and how to best build for our knowledgeable and sophisticated clients. An initial discovery session will allow us to understand your goals so we can develop a "broad brush" budget as a starting point.

Chatsworth is a quality builder. I've worked with them on many projects as a trade/supplier. They represent their customers very very well, ensuring that trades are matching the wants of the home owners to 100% satisfaction, in my experience.
Chatsworth and its employees manage projects as if they were their own homes. This is exactly what you would want from a builder. I highly recommend them to anyone considering a new custom build.

Fil and Chatsworth build great homes. Building Knowledge was first introduced to Fil by a customer who wanted to build an R-2000 house. Fil hadn’t done one before and since there were no upcoming R-2000 builder training programs we had to setup a mentoring program. The first requirement was that Fil would have to pass the builder’s test.
So, I sent Fil the multiple-choice test and over one weekend he not only completed the test perfectly, he felt compelled to write out in detail his rationale for each question. I thought that was an amazing commitment to building science to how they operate

I have worked with Fil from Chatsworth on many projects dating back to 2012. Fil has always been very professional and concise in our communication with each other. Whenever I had a question or needed clarification, he responded in a timely manner. In addition to Fil, I have worked with Tim and Paul (site supervisors) and both have been excellent to deal with.
Most recently we worked closely with Fil to create some marketing materials. In the past, I have worked with several other builders on their marketing materials and usually the focus is to showcase the final product - the WOW factor. Absolutely

Fil Capuano and his team are elite level builders. As a local Realtor having had the privilege of viewing many of their built homes as well as having had the opportunity to have sold a few I can tell you that these homes far exceed the construction quality of most luxury homes. The craftsmanship is extrordinary.
I have also witnessed their build process from plans to budget and right through the build to the finished product. They are super professional and on budget. Their sites are always clean and orderly and their is a pride of craftsmanship with their trades.
