Our roofs have the highest fire resistance rating of any roofing material. Our roofing panels have been tested in accordance with many test standards (ASTM E 108-95, UBC Standard 15-2(1997), UL 790(1997), CAN S107) and have received an overall non-combustible rating. We do not recommend installing your own metal roof.

An excellent job. We chose Ironwood for our home because we liked the longevity of the product. The roof was installed over top of the asphalt shingles, which saved waste in landfills. The job was done on time and on budet, and the house looks beyond fantastic. The crew was polite, kind, tidy, safety orientated and showed attention to detail. Highly recommended.

I am very pleased with my Ironwood roof. It looks amazingly like shakes. Friends and family were expecting a more industrial looking roof. They were surprised at how good the roof looks and how well it fits into the neighborhood. I have received nothing but complements on the appearance.
We have had very hot weather since the roof was installed and my fears that the house would be warmer were without merit. In fact, I think it may be a little cooler.
I would have no hesitation in recommending this type of roof.

Great product and a very attractive look. I have a feeling our neighbours will be jealous based on appearance alone. As other reviewers have said, Len and the installation crew are top notch. Dylan and Darrin were friendly and polite and went above and beyond to make us happy. I look forward to many years of not worrying about the roof ever again!

We have had the pleasure of hiring Ironwood Shake & Tile three times over the last ten years to replace three cedar shake roofs with metal shakes. They re-roofed our house in 2010, our workshop/carport in 2016 and have just finished with our studio roof. It was a positive experience every time as the Ironwood team was knowledgeable, skilled, hard-working and efficient. They stuck with their original quote and were completely trustworthy.
