We use a full range of brand name prescription eyeglass lenses from manufacturers such as Essilor, Nikon, Hoya and Zeiss and the best materials and most durable coatings available (Crizal D Alize with AST & Ice & SeeCoat and Super High Vision). This means that your glasses are scratch resistant, anti-reflective, oil & water repellent, smudge resistant, offer UV protection and filter out harmful blue-violet light.

I went to Blynx based on Yelp reviews and was not disappointed! Being Asian I needed Asian fit glasses and don't like nose pad and I'm picky on styles. I walked in, met Sam and told him what I'm looking for. Sam is super friendly and quick at spotting out frames that would work for me. He selected a few frames that fit my requirements and I was able to settled on the design I liked. I was literally in and out of the shop in 10 minutes! I chose to come to Blynx optical because of the positive Google reviews. I was not disappointed when I walked into their shop. They kindly greeted me but didn't put any pressure to make me feel obligated or uncomfortable to purchase from their store. I was looking for super light weight Korean made glasses and was so happy they carried some. They also helped me choose a great shape for my face. I don't have optical coverage so it's important to me to find a trustworthy and easy to work with optical company.

This. Guy. Is. Amazing. I lost my glasses surfing one day and had my pair the next. I have horrible eye sight and for him to get the lenses ordered and cut the same day, is truly the best service. He was very helpful in picking out frames for me. Very professional and kind. I may even go back later today to order up a pair of sunglasses, I loved it so much. I recommend this place wholeheartedly. Do it.

By far, best optical store in the Vancouver region - & I've been to quite a few whilst outfitting 4 family members in glasses. Customer service is excellent, exceptionally quick turnaround on lenses/frames & very competitive pricing. This is the best place to get glasses and sunglasses by far. I will happily drive out here from Burnaby because their customer service is top notch!
We mostly have Sammy or Anthony helping us and both are so patient, helpful, non pushy, friendly and excellent at customer service. You really get the feeling that they just want you to find something that suits your face and that you're happy with! They got my boyfriend to try out a new style of glasses that he wasn't initially comfortable with, but now it's his new favorite!

I came from a long way just to Blynx because of all the great reviews on Yelp. I found this store from other Yelper's reviews and phoned Blynx Optical first with several inquiries. They were so professional and polite on the phone, and answered everything. The customer service on the phone and in-person were excellent and made me feel confident to go with them. My inquiries were:
1) Do you do an eye test?
Answer: They do a sight test (not a medical eye exam) and it is complimentary if you purchase from there. Bring your old prescription paper if you have one though, I forgot to bring mine

Blynx Optical definitely has an amazing selection of glasses & sunglasses...from the latest Dior sunglasses to the classic Ray Ban collections. Joanne has helped me pick out sunglasses and has billed them directly to my benefits plan provider. She is always on top of the ball calling me for when the glasses are ready to be picked up and etc. She also gives a discount for the sunglasses I've boughten, which was ~30-40% off the tag price (which is marked up quite high). Great place- i shopped around quite a bit and blynx gave me best bang for my buck.. i bought a pair of prescription sunglasses that came to approx 700$ ($350 covered by benefits)
they have a wide selection compared to other places at richmond centre and robson optical
blynx gave great personalized service, gave me a lower price than what what i was quoted at other places and has an eye for detail
they also put my purchase through directly on my benefits so it saved me some time from uploading receipts, etc.
i will definitely come here again for glasses again this year

I really like this store. I found that they have great customer service, good quality glasses and very reasonable prices. Had to get replacement lenses for my frames as my prescription changed.
The order whole process was extremely fast and efficient - the super friendly staff there recommended the type of lens for me to get and told me to come back the very next day! This was a pleasant surprise as I don't like to be without my glasses.
I have extremely high prescriptions (-10, -9) - so it was $210 for me as I have to get the thinnest lenses possible. However, the price could probably vary to the lower end for people who have normal prescriptions. The staff was honest in telling that me that although there are

Sammy and his team are one of the best in customer service and price. I came here because of a few friends recommendations and I was very happy with the polarized shades I got. Optical shops (as well as eye doctors, dentists, ETC) are competitive business!! that being said, there are some dishonest or greedy people out there who just want your money. Case in point, i walk in an optical store stating that i wanted to try some of the brand new frames i saw at the display window.... at first they were nice and then as soon as get me to sit down, they try to push the "no name" glasses. Sure - it's higher profit margin for them !!

One word. Amazing. everything from service to prices. It was so good that I got 2 pairs of glasses! Then I got my bf to get one too! Shop no further, this is the place to be! I know cuz I went to so many others n by far this place has best selection and prices! Also excellent customer service, my glasses coloring were messed up after 2 weeks of use. The owner did a over the counter exchange for me. Love this place!

I dislike having to wear glasses, but the fact is, I don't really have any choice. Last week, just before my birthday, my titanium frame broke. I've been functioning without them since then and the world is much smaller (everything far away is burred).
