We phoned Sykes Electric to get an estimate on removing our Knob and Tubing wiring, Were both seniors and have been trying for the last two years to go away on a winter vacation, but now with Covid around we have had to canceled our vacation each year. I talked to my wife and we agreed that now that we have a little extra money we didnt use for vacation that we should look into getting the wiring in our house upgraded. I find that now a days it seems that the majority of companys out there are out for your money, and not there to provide good customer service. I looked up Sykes Electric and read

Glen Sykes is a fine businessman who proved true to his word. We live in a 108 year old home that was in need of rewiring. Sykes Electric via the crew (a tidy crew) were able to accomplish this in record time despite the number of obstacles posed by the woodwork, wallpaper and brickwork. They not only took care not to make a total mess, they cleaned up the areas that needed to be opened for access and filled the holes. We are very pleased with their service!

Glen sent 4 qualified workers to safely and quickly remove existing knob and tube throughout the house and install grounded electrical infrastructure.
Job was done in 4 days and now i have new plugs and lights and a FAN IN THE BATHROOM for the first time!

Fantastic job and quality craftsmanship. We couldn't be happier with the work completed by Kennedy and Adam. They were here on time everyday, stayed as quiet as possible and kept everything in tip top shape. It was like they were treating our place like it was their own, with all the effort they put into it. Kennedy even came back the following day when an outlet was not working.
