In October 2018, I hired Amplify to reconstruct our crumbling front porch. Our first project manager arranged for a contractor to form, pour and parge new concrete landings and steps. The workmanship was poor. A number of stairs weren’t level or sloped correctly, the edges of the landings weren’t straight and the finish was rough and, frankly, sloppy. Added to this, the driveway and interlocking were damaged by the work. I complained and after a long delay, the contractor returned to discuss how to fix the problems. We hired amplify masonry to refacing our home with stone veneer. The crew was amazing. Showed up on time and cleaned up after themselves. The guys were really respectful of my neighbours. These are three things you can expect from Gam and the Amplify crew. After the initial quotes, Gam was the only prospect that followed-up in a timely fashion. His friendly crew arrived early, explaining the work they were going to do. It was an overcast day, with high humidity, which made the drying of mortar between the brick, to take longer than usual. Amplify’s crew stayed on site, carefully adjusting the mortar, into the late afternoon. There was no extra charge for the additional time.
