Jeff, Leslie-Ann, Brad and Phil work collaboratively with their clients to ensure that the vision of the renovation created in the beginning is the one that is finally met. Nothing is a problem, it is simply a matter of figuring it out. Their attention to detail is quite amazing. They have excellent relationships with their trades and that is evident with the professionalism and excellent work from all the installers (cabinets, floor, tile)

From our first meeting with Jeff, we enjoyed his “tell it like it is” approach. I was never afraid to speak my mind – good or bad – and always knew it would be heard and actioned or he’d have suggestions and… options on how best to achieve our vision. On recommendation from Morrison Homes ( an award winning home builder), we met with Jeff and his team to start our project. We worked with Phil and Leslie-Ann on the design and selection phase. We had an absolutely amazing experience with Melanson during our basement reno. They and their team were beyond awesome to deal with, everyone was professional and kind and were patient and friendly with our dogs, and anytime we brought something up it was answered/handled immediately. They were also flexible with our shiftwork schedule and blacking out days so we were able to sleep for nightshift. Our reno also finished on time, minus a couple items that were unavailable and had to be installed as they became available, which is not a big deal.

When we set out to develop our basement we were hesitant, as so many people told us they never enjoy using their basement. The Melanson Team didn’t just give us a “ basement”, they created an amazing new living space we never dreamed we could have. Their customer service, collaborative design approach, quality trades and professionalism is second to none. Melanson Homes and Renovations (MHR) is wonderful. They were extremely responsive, thorough, competitive and highly professional. The communication was consistent, clear and timely. Despite the fact that we found ourselves juggling a number of priorities and had to delay our project, the service provided by MHR never changed. They're flexible, patient and understanding. Melanson coordinated the renovation of our entire main floor, focusing on the kitchen, where we had two walls removed, the ceiling vaulted, new hardwood floors, new cabinets and lighting. We are delighted with the result. Jeff did a great job coordinating with a terrific group of suppliers , Brad provided the day to day quality control, and Brent was the hands-on talent for much of the work.
