Our 1953 bungalow that had an outdated oak kitchen needed updating and we had been recommended by a close friend to contact Rob at West Thorn Cabinetry.
We didn’t have a lot of space to work with and functionality was important. Rob really helped us nail down the design of our dream kitchen, ensuring that we had the greatest amount of storage and modernizing it while still working with the rest of our home.

We bought a new house and moved in Nov 29, 2019. All good, except we HATED the kitchen. It had old, original cabinets, that were so small, I couldn't fit half my stuff.
So out with the old and in with the new. From design to finish, the process went well. The guys had it all done in one week, cleaning up before they left every day. Rob kept me up to date on the progress. They are custom everything. Rob and Bruce brought creative ideas and suggestions. I highly recommend these guys and they won't break the bank.

We would absolutely recommend Rob and his team to anyone who is looking for high quality, competitively-priced work to be completed by people who clearly know and love their craft. What started as a taped-out vision for a library / feature wall was turned into better than imagined reality. We were very impressed by Rob and Bryan's attention to detail, creativity and ability to adjust to site conditions (who knew the walls and ceiling weren't quite level?). I would absolutely recommend these guys to friends and family! They came with materials and tools for every situation. High attention to detail and finishing. They were careful not to damage any surrounding cabinetry and very respectful of cleanliness. Even though the cabinet doors came in just a tad bit off from the sheen, they repainted it to match existing within a week! They even helped shovel my driveway! I can't say enough good things about them.

West Thorn did the cabinetry for our complete condo reno - full kitchen, 2 + bathrooms, and total built-ins in the living room, dining room and master bedroom. Rob and team were extremely professional, and customer focused - discussing the minute details of the cabinets with us. We challenged them with some unique cabinetry - and they were able to design and build to our "dream". They were very precise - which is critical with the amount of customization we had and were incredibly easy to deal with. We continue to be thrilled with the work they did. Rob was hired to build and install all my kitchen cabinetry, a floating desk and an audio room component shelve. Rob was the first cabinet maker to review my kitchen project. I visited three other builder-standard outfits but those turned out to be a disappointing process because of the quality standard. Things picked up when I invested time at two other higher-end kitchen cabinet outfits, but when it came to decision time, I knew who I should hire.
