Downtown Flooring Co. Ltd. is a family owned and operated flooring business serving both residential and commercial clients in Toronto and the GTA since 1959. Formally a retail store located at 474 Queen Street West in Toronto. It has come to our attention that customers today want better service for less money.
In order for you to get the maximum value from your purchase and to make sure you are aware of the installation process, we have prepared these basic guidelines. It is very important to review these items to make sure you completely understand the entire process. Unless otherwise agreed upon in writing by both parties all Estimates are valid for 30 days only from the date on the Estimate.

We are very happy with Downtown Flooring. Steve Knab came, measured, gave us a very reasonable quote for installing the carpet I wanted, and installed it perfectly. They are an honest company who did great work for us. I am really happy to find Downtown Flooring for our kitchen reno. Eric was prompt for my calls and questions, and the installers did a good, ontime and neat job.
We are looking for highly motivated individuals who are looking to be THEIR OWN BOSS, setting their own hours and driving their own personal success. Compensation (extremely high for the industry) will be structured based on a profit sharing platform and will be discussed at the interview stage of the hiring process.

Eric and his team are great. We wanted to get our flooring asap before selling our condo and he was able to squeeze us in pretty quickly. I received two other quotes from Lowes and Rona for almost double the cost compared to what Downtown Flooring offered and Downtown Flooring's product quality was much better! Will definitely be working with them again.

This review is coming a bit late...like 3 months and I apologize for my tardiness.
I called Downtown Flooring as I needed carpet in my renovated basement and 3rd floor and I needed it quickly due to the house going on the market. Not only did they manage to get me in sooner than I really expected but they were very fast and incredibly efficient. Basement room, stairs and then haul it all up to the 3rd floor using a narrow and steep set of stairs.
I was very happy with the work and the price. I would recommend them to anyone at anytime.

We needed to replace laminated flooring on the 2nd floor with a hardwood product and our friend recommended Eric from Downtown Flooring. He provided us with an excellent service.
He was able to bring samples of products to our house based on phone conversation describing what we were looking for.
From among various options we decided on the engineered hardwood flooring which appeal to our taste and was within our budget.
The installation was done by a very professional and hard working crew. It was done very quickly (a couple of days) and with a minimum interruption to our daily lives.
