Gord and Lena Buechner, the owners of Indoor Elements Mechanical Ltd, formerly G&L Heating and Cooling, started their company in 1991 and incorporated their business in 1996. Both Gord and Lena were born and raised in the Grande Prairie area. What started as a husband and wife team with Gord handling the tools and Lena taking care of the books, has flourished into a vibrant growing business.
Over the years, and even during the recent economic downturn, this business has seen steady growth in their customer base and financial stability, which in turn has allowed the company to purchase two commercial properties in Grande Prairie Industrial Park. Indoor Elements is my go-to service provider for heating/cooling and plumbing.
They are fast, efficient, friendly, and know their trades! Rates are good, service is professional and response is quick.
I have several rental units as well as my residence with them on a Service Agreement (highly recommended) to ensure that I’m on their “response list” should a problem arise.
They also schedule annual winterization maintenance — furnaces only fail when they’re working ie. when you need them!

Critical: Punctuality, Quality, Value
Took 3 guys nearly 16 hours to do a basic furnace and waterheater replacement. Waterheater was done in the afternoon but they took until 1030 at night before we had heat. House was 12° most of the afternoon and night. It was 1am before they finally cleaned up and left. Large Extra fees afterwards and overall not very impressed.

Could not be happier with the install. The three guys that came to install were super friendly and very experienced. Had amazing detail on all the answers to my questions and I still can't believe how clean the whole install was. Price was on point as well. After comparing the quote around town, they were still the best. Can't recommend Indoor Elements enough :)

An essential component malfunctioned on my furnace in the evening. Checked a few retail shops, nobody had what I needed in stock. Called indoor elements for the part, they had it in stock, and Gord quickly drove to their shop for me (after hours), and got me the part to make sure I got my furnace up and running.
Very pleased with the prompt and friendly service.

I have an extremely old furnace which needed some love. I called Indoor Elements to look at it, they came out as soon as they could. They replaced some parts and cleaned it up a bit - I was expecting to hear I need a new furnace but they said the work they did on it should last me the winter. They were honest and upfront with me which I am extremely thankful for. The owner even came out to make sure I was taken care of. When I need a new furnace, I will use this company. Honest, professional and through - can't say enough.
