Call
There's a long list of plumbers that you can call if you have a problem with your sink or your water-heater. Most charge roughly the same price and work on roughly the same schedule. So, why call us? Experience - 40 years is a long time. Two different problems can look the same to a rookie eye. Old veterans know better.

They know which questions to ask, which things to check, and how to use little clues to speed up the problem-identification process. When you're paying by the hour, these things matter. Time saved is money saved. Friendliness - Professionalism is important. But sometimes we can get so worked up about being prim and proper that we forget to be human, and to be interesting.

We don't have that problem! We work efficiently, but we liketo share stories and laughs while we do so. Ellery Lemky got into the plumbing business back in the early 70's, when Grande Prairie was still a small town with a few stop-lights. He branched out on his own in 1996 to found B-Line Plumbing.
Services
Depending on your make/model, your heater's shelf-life should be in the 10-15 year range. If you're in the low end of that range, we'll attempt to repair it before replacing. This might involve fixing basic leaks or trouble-shooting inconsistencies in temperature or heat-duration. If you are nearing the end of the life-cycle, we can help you to choose and install a same-day replacement.
Accidents never happen on a schedule. Thankfully, we're willing to lose sleep so that you can regain yours. If you run into a plumbing emergency, we're willing to respond 24/7. Just give us a call. We bill an additional 50% on labour for all emergency calls - but no hidden fees, additional product mark-ups, or other surcharges.
Check for hair. It's the main culprit. Removing it manually is unpleasant, but it can often be the only way. Most drain-covers can be removed using a screw-driver. If you see a visible clog, try using a bent coat-hanger to gently remove it (be careful to not push the clog further into the drain). If you can't see one, try using a plunger.
Q. Can I increase my water-pressure? A. Possibly. The best thing to do first is to compare your water-pressure with that of your immediate neighbours. If yours is significantly lower, it's likely a local issue like a damaged valve or waterline, or a build-up of mineral deposits. We can help fix those things.

This was my second time using B-Line Plumbing. Quick to respond by phone. Was at my home in less time than estimated (both times). Quickly diagnosed and repaired a boiler. Gave me options and didn’t waste time or over charge. My go-to plumber now!

This plumber was excellent from the beginning. He returned my call, he showed up exactly at the time he said he would. He returned with the items needed. He was clean and professional and was not trying to overcharge us at all. I would highly recommend him.

Our sink started linking in two separate places just a few hours before our guests for the weekend were scheduled to arrive. Brett from B-Line got here quickly and diagnosed and repaired the problem within minutes. It turned out to be such a simple fix that he didn't even charge us. He just asked us to keep him in mind when we had a real problem in the future. We will.
