Saw them at the Manitoba Outdoor show and asked him about his thermal Infrared cameras. He told me they are not IR cameras. Other cameras use IR LEDS to see things, and that his cameras are thermal, not IR.
Long-wave infrared (LWIR) in the 8 to 12 um range are designed
to see "heat" such as the human body.
